As our motto states “We’re About Family”, and it’s that statement that is at the heart of our design philosophy. We build products that are energy efficient and durable that will comfort and protect families not only today but for many years to come. We participate in the U.S. and Canada ENERGY STAR® programs and all of our windows and patio doors have earned the ENERGY STAR. As we grow our business, we will continue to improve our products in a responsible, efficient manner ever mindful of our environmental responsibility. As a manufacturer, we understand and accept our responsibility to operate our business in a manner that meets or exceeds all government regulations relating to the environment. We continuously practice the three R’s (reduce, reuse and recycle) and have developed programs to track and measure the utilization of our raw materials. We actively recycle the waste created from the manufacture of our lumber, pvc, glass, steel door and aluminum components and continue to search for ways to reduce waste from packaging and other components. Our facility energy management system enables us to control our heating/energy/lighting needs effectively and intelligently. Further, every new technology or process introduced into our facility is evaluated for environmental impact and we take any necessary steps to protect our environment before proceeding. Our commitment to the environment is further shown by our membership in both the Canadian and US Green Building Councils and participation in the ENERGY STAR program. As well, we are proud to have been selected as the window of choice for some of the most state of the art LEED® Homes (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) in North America.
