We are recruiting for Qualified Sales Personnel to represent our products and provide support in a variety of functions. Interested in an administrative opportunity with us? We are often hiring for Customer Service Representatives, Coop Students, and Sales Support. Please email your resume to hr@pollardwindows.com and specify the type of role you are interested in.

In this job, you would work in close liaison with Customers, Sales, and Production while making site deliveries of Pollard Windows Products in an automatic transmission 24’ delivery truck. Deliveries take place across Ontario and across-border into the USA. Drivers Load and Unload at Pollard Shipping Dock and Customer Sites with the assistance of a Driver’s Helper.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must hold a valid “D” Licence
  • First Aid / CPR Training is an asset; required upon hire
  • Working from Heights Certificate is an asset; required upon hire; Note: Drivers will not be required to work at heights however certification is mandatory to make deliveries at a construction site
  • Must have Valid Passport and able to cross the Canadian/American Boarder (Premium Provided for each trip)
  • All applicants must be willing and able to pass a medical assessment as per U.S.A. requirements
  • Possess clean driver’s abstract; able to provide upon hire and at other times during employment

Pollard Windows Inc. is currently seeking candidates for Permanent General Labour positions in the manufacturing plant. Positions available include: Full-Time Day Shift and Full-Time Evening Shift in both Light General Labour (lifting <25 lbs.) and Heavy General Labour (lifting >25 lbs.).

These candidates must possess the following qualities and skills: Reliability, Punctuality, Ability to Measure, Superior Fine Motor Skills. Experience with pneumatic hand tools, saws, staple guns and other machinery an asset. Forklift License an asset.

Using Double-Cut Off saw, cut Vinyl to complete specified daily orders, time tickets, and efficiency times while meeting quality standards

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • If the saw is computer operated, set up the computer program
  • Read order forms, distinguish colour, size, and type of material required
  • Once the material is cut, sort into the appropriate cubical and mark with the correct information
  • Perform routine maintenance cleaning of machine and other materials as required
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance checks
  • Inspect and ensure all products meet the established standards of quality
  • Ensure that the supervisor is informed daily about quality, quantity, safety and any other issues that require attention
  • Able to read, write, measure

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Lifting up to 25 lbs throughout the day
  • Standing with an anti-fatigue mat
  • Manual dexterity, frequent bending, twisting, reaching, grasping, squeezing, pulling, and pushing

Pollard Windows is looking for energetic, skilled and customer service driven Service Technicians to take care of our customers. Our Service Technicians are experienced in Construction, repairs and installations of windows and doors. They are mechanically inclined, have a clean and valid driver’s license and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Working at Heights Certified, and experience in installing. If you are looking for an opportunity that will enable you to use your experience in construction or installation and bring your customer services skills to a higher level, we can reward you with a competitive income and challenging opportunities. The Service Technician is accountable for meeting the needs of our customers onsite by providing exceptional service and repair. Glazing, window replacement and adjustments will be part of the tasks provided to our customers and the process may involve some heavy lifting.
